NFL picks, Week 16: Colts will beat the Chiefs, says everyone

No surprise but most NFL experts are picking the Colts to beat the Chiefs.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

In Week 2 of this season, 610 Sports' Danny Parkins was making fun of me because I planned to pick the KC Chiefs to win almost every week the rest of the season.

And then the actual season happened and we realized the Chiefs are awful.

We've gone from that, me picking the Chiefs almost every week, to what is now reality. My official pick on the game is 34-13 in favor of the Colts. The Chiefs have shown no interest in defending Arrowhead so there's little reason to think this game will be competitive.

My picks column at SBNation.com read:

As a Chiefs fan, I've been burned by the Colts all my life. In January 1996, it was Jim Harbaugh beating the Chiefs in Kansas City in the Divisional round of the playoffs. In January 2004, it was Peyton Manning and the Colts not punting once (Chiefs didn't either) and beating the Chiefs in Kansas City in the Divisional round. In January 2007, Manning again beat my Chiefs. Blame that little rant on the Chiefs 2-12 season. And take the Colts, who have something to play for.

At CBS Sports, seven of their eight NFL experts are taking the Colts over the Chiefs.

At ESPN.com they have 12 people making making picks and all 12 chose the Colts. Even the computer chose the Colts.

At Yahoo! Sports, all three experts pick the Colts over the Chiefs.

So who's taking the Chiefs?
