We have what I believe is the largest injury report of the season for the Kansas City Chiefs. A whopping 14 players are listed with six of them not practicing at all, four of them participating in a limited practice and four more with a full practice.
Lots to talk about. Here is the Wednesday injury report...
Did not practice: Javier Arenas, Jon Baldwin, Russ Hochstein, Ryan Lilja, Tony Moeaki, Jerrell Powe
Powe and Baldwin both have the flu. Hochstein and Lilja have been dealing with back problems for a while now.
Moeaki may have suffered a concussion last weekend against the Raiders. Well, sorry, maybe it's not a concussion. It's a "little head deal", according to Romeo Crennel. Not sure why some teams list players as having a concussion and others list it as a head injury.
Arenas "tweaked his ankle", according to Crennel.
Limited practice: Branden Albert, Abe Elam, Brandon Flowers, Rich Ranglin
Albert's back is going to be an issue the rest of the season. Elam has missed two weeks with that quad injury. Flowers is listed as limited with an illness, so that could be another flu situation.
Full practice: Jon Asamoah, Eric Berry, Terrance Copper, Brady Quinn
Asamoah and Berry have been on here for a few weeks now. They'll be fine. Copper is dealing with a hamstring injury but as a full participant in practice it doesn't seem serious.
And then there's Quinn, who will start on Sunday despite a rib injury.
