The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, dropping their record to 2-12 on the season .That ties them with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the worst record in the NFL. Now we can get serious about the 2013 NFL draft order.
The way it looks now, the No. 1 pick is going to come down to the Chiefs or Jaguars.
Here's how things stand:
The Chiefs final two games: Indianapolis, at Denver
The Jaguars final two games: New England, at Tennessee
Other four-win teams: Raiders, Titans, Eagles, Lions
If the Chiefs lose out they will likely have the No. 1 pick based on strength of schedule.
Here's how the draft order stands today (strength of schedule):
1) Kansas City 2-12 (.500)
2) Jacksonville 2-12 (.540)
3) Oakland 4-10 (.455)
4) Philadelphia 4-10 (.513)
5) Detroit 4-10 (.567)
6) San Diego 5-9 (.460)
7) Buffalo 5-9 (.491)
8) Cleveland 5-9 (.500)
9t) Tennessee 5-9 (.513)
9t) Carolina 5-9 (.513)
11) Arizona 5-9 (.558)
So...the Chiefs are probably going to get the top pick. Right?
