Chiefs injury report: 8 starters are hurt to start Raiders week

One Chiefs player has already been ruled out.

The Kansas City Chiefs kicked off Oakland Raiders week with 11 players on the injury report. One of those players, Dwayne Bowe, has already been ruled out.

Here's how the first injury report of the week looks:

Out: Dwayne Bowe

Out? This should be fun...

Did not practice: Branden Albert, Abe Elam, Russ Hochstein, Ryan Lilja

Albert was limited all last week and played in the game before his back acted up again. I'm wondering if the Chiefs are going to limit him even more during the week to keep him on the field.

Elam didn't practice at all last week and didn't play in the game.

Hochstein was a late addition to the injury report last week, joining the list on Friday.

It seems like Lilja has been on the injury report all season, but he's usually good to play.

Limited practice: Brandon Flowers, Cyrus Gray, Derrick Johnson

Flowers and DJ are both dealing with hamstring injuries. Last week neither of them practiced on Wednesday or Thursday, but still played in the game.

Gray suffered a stinger in last weekend's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Full practice: Jon Asamoah, Eric Berry, Kendrick Lewis

Thinking all these guys will be good. Asamoah had a thumb injury earlier that is causing him to wear a brace. Berry has a hand injury that also has him in a cast. Lewis has been sidelined with his shoulder injury but that he's practicing in full is a good sign for him playing this weekend. Lewis missed the first five games of the season with a preseason injury and hasn't played since Week 12.
