The free agency tour of Stanford Routt should be somewhat interesting because players who have been starters aren't often cut in November. So we're interested to see what the market for Routt looks like.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports there are at least three teams interested in Routt, including the MIami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions. A San Diego writer also reported earlier there was interest from three teams as well so his agent (or someone else) is getting the word out.
Update: Miami's not interested anymore, according to the Miami Herald.
The Dolphins, Cardinals and Lions are all in the playoff hunt and would represent better situations for Rout than KC. So he's still going to get paid, he could be going from a one-win team to a playoff contender in Week 10, and he'll double dip, picking up the Chiefs salary and his new team's salary (if he didn't have an offset). Not bad.
That's assuming that these reports are accurate and he really does have multiple teams interested in him. If they're true, he should be signed somewhere within the next few days. If they're not, he's gonna be sitting for a little bit.
