The Kansas City Chiefs did not have to release an injury report on Monday but Romeo Crennel offered an update on a few of the guys who have been hurt, including Jamaal Charles.
Here's how things shook out on Monday for the Chiefs:
Did not practice: Brady Quinn, Glenn Dorsey
Quinn has "made progress" according to Romeo, but is still not allowed to practice. He can have some "light activity" but can't practice. Dorsey's injury has the feeling of a multi-week situation considering Shaun Smith was signed.
Limited practice: Javier Arenas, Jamaal Charles, Jeff Allen, Nate Eachus, Terrance Copper
Arenas, Allen and Eachus all have "head" injuries. Copper has a calf injury.
Then there's Jamaal. The Chiefs running back took a hard shot to the head/neck injury in Thursday's game. The Chiefs have deemed it a "neck" injury, which presumably means he did not suffer a concussion. Charles was limited on Monday, which is a potentially good sign for his availability on Monday night against Pittsburgh.
The Chiefs will be back to their normal practice schedule on Wednesday.
