Chiefs need to be perfect to beat the Broncos, Romeo Crennel says

KC can't make any mistakes.

Justin K. Aller

At Monday's press conference, Romeo Crennel implied what the rest of us knew: the Chiefs have a very little shot of beating the Broncos. The Chiefs head coach didn't say that exactly but he did say, channeling his inner Todd Haley, that the Chiefs have to be perfect to beat the Broncos.

"We have to do everything in our power to be the best we can be, to be perfect," Crennel said, via comments sent out by the Chiefs. "That's what I told them - we need to be perfect - because that's the only way that we have a chance, so that's what we are going to work on to try to get it done."

This is true. It's not so much as the Broncos are a better than it is....well, yeah, the Broncos are actually a much, much better team than the Chiefs. KC does need to be perfect.

Pressed about it, Crennel said it's about striving for perfection.

"We can't make mistakes. Nobody is ever perfect, but if you strive for perfection, then you've got a chance to make it happen and make fewer mistakes, so that's what we are going to try to talk to them about."

Surely this will work, right?
