You knew it would happen, right?
When the Kansas City Chiefs got the ball to start overtime against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a lot of people predicted the same thing: Matt Cassel will throw a pick to end the game.
And...those predictions were exactly right.
Cassel threw a horrible pass that was easily read by Lawrence Timmons, setting the Steelers up to kick the game winning field goal.
Even though the Chiefs hadn't turned it over all game, you knew that was going to happen. You knew knew it. The way this season has gone, I'm surprised Timmons didn't take it back for a pick-six.
I wasn't even really mad when it happened. Normally I'd be fuming at the Chiefs quarterback. But at this point in the season I'm just waiting for the Chiefs to screw up. Of course Cassel threw an interception. Of course the Chiefs lost to the Steelers. That's what's supposed to happen, right?
What was your reaction when Cassel threw the pick?

Timmons just sat there and watched Cassel's eyes. Fairly easy pick for him.

The only way that would have been more perfect is if Cassel was trucked as the defender landed in the end zone for a pick six.
