The demise of Steve Breaston as a Kansas City Chief will be remembered when he was inactive that Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Chiefs inactive list is out and Breaston's name is on it, which means he will not play. Breaston has no known injury, which means this is a football decision. Breaston has seen declining snaps this season so it's not a total shock but it's not every day a guy over a year removed from signing a five-year contract is inactive.
The rest of the Chiefs inactives: Cyrus Gray, Tysyn Hartman, Bryan Kehl, Bryan Mattison, Jerrell Powe and Brady Quinn.
Not listed there is Branden Albert, who will play. He was questionable heading into this game.
