Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was hit very hard by a Chargers defender and stayed down for a couple of minutes while the Chiefs medical personnel attended to him.
Charles was trying to break a tackle and as he made his second push he was met by Donald Butler who rocked him in the helmet.
Charles did not look right laying on the ground.
In perhaps good news, Charles ran off the field under his own power.
The Chiefs are calling it a neck injury, according to NFLN.
You can't help but think about a concussion after seeing the hit. The Chiefs have had their fair share of concussion issues this year but losing Charles would be disastrous to an offense that's already a train wreck.
