The Kansas City Chiefs have released their injury report for Baltimore Ravens week and the news isn't good on a number of fronts but encouraging on a couple others. Four players have been ruled out, three more are questionable and three more after that are probable.
Here's the damage, according to the Chiefs website:
Previously: Wednesday injury report |Thursday
Out: Peyton Hillis, Glenn Dorsey, Jalil Brown and Devon Wylie
We figured these guys would miss considering they weren't practicing all week. Hillis' absence means the Chiefs will handle the running back load similar to what they did last week when he was out. Dorsey will be replaced by Pitoitua -- if he can play.
Questionable: Ropati Pitoitua, Derrick Johnson, Kendrick Lewis
Pitoitua and DJ are a couple of big time names right now. Pitoitua would be the starter at defensive end if he can play. Allen Bailey is behind him. DJ is critical and we really have no idea where he stands. He didn't practice on Wednesday and Thursday but he was upgraded to limited on Friday, so we're hopeful.
Probable: Brandon Flowers, Jon Baldwin, Ryan Lilja
These guys should all be good to go. Flowers was dealing with a re-injury to his heel, Baldwin tweaked his hamstring and Lilja has been on injury report for a few weeks now with a back injury.
