Jamaal Charles not concerned with who's playing QB

It doesn't seem to matter to Jamaal Charles who's playing quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jamaal Charles commented on the decision by head coach Romeo Crennel to move forward with Brady Quinn as the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs for the remainder of the season.

Well, sort of.

"Romeo, he made a decision and I'm just going to go out there playing football" Charles stated. He later went on to say that he doesn't think the offense will change a whole lot now that Quinn will be the permanent starter.

"No, we won't worry about that because we were moving the ball with rhythm. He has experience already playing in the NFL as a quarterback already so we're not going to lose any rhythm."

It really doesn't matter to Charles because he's going to continue being the focus of the teams' offense despite who is under center. But it's good to know that he's at least publicly behind this decision. The bye week came at a good time for Charles because he's going to need to be rested for as much as the Chiefs will most likely be leaning on him for the rest of the season.

"I had a long break and I chilled at home, I didn't go anywhere, I just stayed up here and I feel ready to go." Charles said.
