This weekend was the main event during the bye week for at least one Chiefs fan -- namely Joel Thorman, editor of Arrowhead Pride. If you've been around AP long enough, you know that Joel scheduled his wedding day on the Chiefs bye week. But just because he's away from his typical day-to-day responsibilities at AP doesn't mean that we can't get at least a glimpse of what he's up to.
The good news is that former Star columnist and current Washington Post writer Kent Babb was on hand to live tweet the event. You can also see a nice photo from the ceremony above (not really). Here's Babb's take on the #APWedding:
Thinking of live-tweeting this @arrowheadpride wedding. Hasn't even started yet, & Joel has already embarrassed himself by wearing a beard.

Nice enough entrance by the groom, but it would've better if he'd dropped from rafters like late-90s Sting. Then whooped the nWo/groomsmen.

Bride's parents give permission, questionably, to marry @arrowheadpride. Remainder of wedding now being conducted under protest.

Certainly not surprisingly, @arrowheadpride's grotesque cheapness works its way into the pastor's blessing.

.@christhorman's mustache has won this wedding in a blowout. Somewhere, Tom Selleck is proud.

Well, they're married. That poor woman. No, that's not a capybara in the bed next to you. That's Beardo's facial hair.

Yes, @arrowheadpride performed a first dance. And, yes, I've seen earthquakes with more grace.

And Joel's proper response?
Thanks to @kentbabb for live tweeting the #APwedding. Questionable reporting though.
