Say what you want about the Kansas City Chiefs but they've picked a good span to be a bad team. That's because the rest of the AFC West is hardly impressive through the first six weeks of the season. Peyton Manning's Broncos completed an impressive comeback on Monday Night Football, beating the San Diego Chargers, 35-24.
That evens up the AFC West standings with the best team(s) in the division a measly .500.
1. Denver Broncos (3-3)
2. San Diego Chargers (3-3)
3. Oakland Raiders (1-4)
4. Kansas City Chiefs (1-5)
The AFC West really isn't a good division. The Broncos are a good but inconsistent and flawed team. Philip Rivers appears to be regressing over the past year and a half. The Raiders and the Raiders.
And then there are the Chiefs, who some of us think is the worst team in football.
So, yeah, the AFC West kinda sucks.
