My Week 6 NFL picks are in and it's good news for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Or bad news. Depends on how you look at it. I'm picking the Chiefs to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend but I've only been right on one of my five Chiefs game picks this year -- last week's Baltimore Ravens game.
Outside of that game, I have picked the exact opposite every week. You'd think with the amount of time I spend talking, reading and watching Chiefs I'd do better but nope. The bar has been set very low.
My prediction on the score is 21-20. The Chiefs will eke this one out behind a big rushing day and solid defense. At 2-4, I can keep that slimmer of hope alive. At 1-5, I pretty much have to shut that down for fear of being the guy who can't face reality (if I'm not that guy already).
The other good news is that we'll likely see two more AFC West teams lose in Week 6. The Oakland Raiders play the undefeated Atlanta Falcons so they're probably going to lose. And the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers play on Monday Night Football so one of those teams is going down as well.
All my picks are below. The full explanations can be seen here. What's your game of the week?
