Former Chiefs Coach Could Be In Play For Steelers

Former Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley has been linked to a number of openings around the league including the New York Jets offensive coordinator job and a role on the Arizona Cardinals staff. Nothing is imminent, as far as we can tell, but there is a new team in the mix.

The Pittsburgh Steelers may have some interest in Haley, according to Jason La Canfora of NFL Network, who reports that Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has made calls around the league seeking more information on Haley.

The Steelers let Bruce Arians walk as offensive coordinator. The Chiefs, like the Steelers, don't have an offensive coordinator. (Hey, I hear that Haley guy is a real wiz on offense. Maybe he could be the Chiefs coordinator!)

I think any coach going to Pittsburgh has to be among the best case scenarios. You get a team with terrific ownership, stability and, most importantly, a team that wins a lot of games.

How would you feel if Haley went to Pittsburgh and they had a terrific offense? How would you feel if the offense was horrible?
