The Chicago Bears GM search is entering its final days (or even hours). Multiple Chicago media outlets report that the Bears have gone through two interviews with both finalists, including Phil Emery, the Kansas City Chiefs director of college scouting.
Licht's interview was on Thursday and Emery's was on Friday. Emery is considered the favorite for the job, according to multiple reports.
I've been reading through the Chicago papers and I found this line from the Chicago Tribune kinda funny: "It may or may not be significant that [Emery] was the final candidate to visit this week, and the final candidate to visit last week in the first wave of interviews."
I don't know what that means either.
So now we wait. I bet we hear something by early next week.
