NFL Playoff Schedule Is Officially Set

The NFL playoff field is officially set for both the AFC and NFC. We know the games coming up on Wildcard weekend on Jan. 7 and 8 (this weekend) and what time they'll be played. Here's a glimpse at the schedule with my thoughts included:

Saturday, January 7

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans, 4:30 p.m., NBC: The Bengals are going to be a dangerous playoff team. They have a good offensive and defensive line and no major weaknesses. I like them a lot. The Texans have lost three in a row and T.J. Yates is banged up. They could be upset in the first round.

Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints, 8 p.m., NBC: Looking forward to this matchup. They could score 100 combined points. Both teams score a lot and both give up a lot of yards. This should be a fun one to watch but the Saints are playing better than anyone in the NFL right now.

Sunday, January 8

Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants, 1 p.m., FOX: The Falcons are a really balanced team and so are the Giants. I'm stumped on this game right now.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos, 4:30 p.m., CBS: Gotta roll with the Steelers here. The Broncos just need to hope they can keep it close and hold the ball with a chance to win. But I don't see that happening.
