Well, it's not really an injury report -- it's really a practice report -- but the Kansas City Chiefs will release their very first list of injured players later today.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the NFL season, the league mandates teams release practice reports indicating whether an injured player practiced in full, was limited or didn't practice at all. Players not injured won't be listed.
So we're thinking QB Matt Cassel will be listed after he suffered a rib injury last week against the Green Bay Packers. Cassel said on 810 WHB yesterday that he plans to play (and he tried to say he didn't feel any pain or discomfort before admitting that you can indeed feel a 340-man falling on you).
WR Jonathan Baldwin is also likely to be listed as he recovers from what's been reported as a thumb injury.
The Chiefs will go through practice this afternoon until about 3:30 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) and then the report will be out. Friday is the day we're really waiting for as the Chiefs will announce injured players as probable, questionable, doubtful or out.
