Chiefs Could Be Missing A Couple Players Against The Vikings

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Minnesota Vikings this weekend and it sounds like they very well could be playing without several players on the injury report.

WR Jonathan Baldwin, who has been listed as a limited participant in practice dating back to last week, seems unlikely to go. Chiefs coach Todd Haley indicated on Thursday that Baldwin has a little while longer. It sounds like the best we can hope for is a "questionable" designation for Baldwin this afternoon.

DE Brandon Bair didn't practice on Wednesday with an illness but he returned on Thursday so it sounds like he'll go but what about CB Brandon Flowers and S Jon McGraw? Both were limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday with injuries and the KC Star's Adam Teicher told Bob Fescoe and Bob Josh Klingler on 610 Sports this morning that he thinks both could be out.

"Don't think either one is gonna go," Teicher said. "Just reading between the lines a little bit. They could end up playing but just watching Flowers move around at practice, it just doesn't look like he's ready to play in a game. Jon McGraw, maybe a little closer. Wouldn't surprise me if he played but right now I think the Chiefs might end up going without both those guys."

So not a definitive "out" but we'll know more after today's practice. Let's hope these guys get back sooner rather than later. The Chiefs will be releasing the status of each player later this afternoon.
