The NFL roster cut deadline is officially here.
At 5:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time), all teams had to be at the league-mandated 53-man roster. Teams have been making cuts throughout the day, including the Kansas City Chiefs, but nothing has been made official yet.
The Chiefs were at 80 roster players so they'll be announcing 27 roster moves shortly.
A couple of tweets and a report from the KC Star have these players getting released: WR Zeke Markshausen, S Reshard Langford, LB Micah Johnson, G Mike Ingersoll, FB Shane Bannon, TE Charlie Gantt, OL Chris Harr and LB Pierre Walters.
We should be hearing something soon.
