The Kansas City Chiefs have yet to announce the 27 roster moves they'll be making in order to get down to 53 players but reports across the league are starting to give us an idea of what will be on the market tonight when the cut deadline hits.
We have no clue who the Chiefs are interested in as these cuts come in but here are a few that could pique their interest:
TE Shawn Nelson: He was a fourth round pick in 2009 by the Buffalo Bills. He was one of the top receivers entering the draft but hasn't done much of anything in the NFL with just 20 career receptions. I would guess the Chiefs wouldn't be interested in him.
TE Desmond Clark: Now we're talking. The Chiefs could use another tight end with the Tony Moeaki news today and Clark is a veteran that could step in fairly quickly. He's 34 years old so there's some tread on his tires but for a one-year replacement this could make sense.
DE Igor Olshansky: Not sure if the Chiefs are interested but I view him in a similar mold as DE Shaun Smith, who came to the Chiefs last season. A veteran defensive lineman with experience in the 3-4. Depending on the price, I'd take a look.
