If the Kansas City Chiefs roster cuts are anything like it was last year, we could be waiting a few extra hours to hear what cuts they've made.
Last year, the Chiefs released seven players on Friday, the day before the NFL roster cut deadline, and 13 more on Saturday. The deadline is at 5:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) but last year the Chiefs didn't announce those cuts until about 8:30 p.m. The year before that they announced them around 6:00 p.m., about an hour after the deadline.
When you're waiting on the news of 27 roster cuts or IR designations, that's a looong time to wait. So keep that in mind as we wait. Even though the deadline is 5:00 p.m., we may not be hearing anything before then.
Here's our roster cut down post from 2010 and here's the one from 2009 (the Bernard Pollard year).
