NFL Roster Cuts: Chiefs Receiver On His Way Out

The Kansas City Chiefs haven't officially announced any roster cuts but we can figure a few of them out as they start trimming the roster from 80 to 53 players.

First, S Reshard Langford and LB Micah Johnson have both tweeted that they've been released. Of those two, Langford was a guy I thought could be landing on the 53-man roster but it's not a major surprise he was cut, if you ask me.

Second, WR Zeke Markshausen has also been waived. He tells his hometown paper that the turk picked his name yesterday.

"It was great going through a complete camp. Going through an NFL training camp is a special thing. I had a blast. It's a really good group of guys, and I was able to connect with them really well, going out to dinner and other things."

Markshausen was a longshot but it's not like he didn't have any skills. He could get picked up elsewhere at some point, especially now that teams have film on him.

So that's three players we know of that have been cut with the deadline is coming at 5:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) tonight.
