We were wondering earlier this week whether this would finally be the week that WR Jonathan Baldwin got on the field for the Kansas City Chiefs. The signs were looking positive as he was a limited participant in practice for the first time last week and even took some warmups with the team before the San Diego Chargers game.
He was again listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice leaving some hope that he could appear in his first regular season game this weekend.
610 Sports' Nick Wright reported that Baldwin is expected to play but not everyone seems to agree with him.
Kent Babb of the KC Star reported that Baldwin was in the rehab zone for Thursday's practice which is "not good" for his chances of playing on Sunday. Bob Gretz also reported that there "appears no chance" Baldwin will play this weekend.
So Baldwin playing on Sunday? Maybe, maybe not.
We'll see how the Chiefs list him for today's practice, whether he was out or limited. On Friday, they'll update his status and it would appear questionable is the best he can hope for at this point.
