Chargers Get Blackout Lifted For Chiefs Game

The San Diego Chargers announced on Tuesday night that they had 4,600 tickets to sell and then announced on Thursday that they had 3,900 tickets to sell in order to avoid a local TV blackout in San Diego.

Either the Chargers (or a sponsor) picked up the tab on the rest of the tickets or a miracle happened because the team just announced that the blackout has been lifted for the game.

That means those Chiefs fans in San Diego can cancel the trip to the beach and stay at home and watch the Chiefs game instead (...right?).

Any Chiefs fans headed out there this weekend?
