Before Will Shields and Willie Roaf retired, the Kansas City Chiefs had one of the greatest offensive lines in history and that included a guy that recently left the team, Brian Waters.
Waters is with the New England Patriots now and it appears he's fitting in. Bill Belichick praised his professionalism and the Boston Herald and Boston Globe have been talking him up.
Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald recently wrote a story on Waters and talked with Shields to get a little more information. Here's a good quote from Shields in the story:
"He was easily, pound-for-pound, the strongest guy on the team," former Chiefs teammate Will Shields recalled. "He had a different kind of way of getting things done."
Shields talks about the levels of violence -- his "controlled violence" and Waters' "violence-violence philosophy".
Check out the full story at the Boston Herald. I'm thinking a few of those players that left the Chiefs this year might have made the right move.
