Chiefs' Eric Berry Sticking Around Kansas City

It's been doom and gloom around the Kansas City Chiefs for the last couple of weeks so now it's time for a positive story.

Chiefs S Eric Berry tore his ACL in Week 1 and was placed on injured reserve ending his season. Sometimes players with season-ending injuries go off to another city for their rehab but we're told he plans on continuing several community roles he has around the city during this time.

Yesterday, Berry went to a local elementary school in Kansas City, talking to fifth graders about the importance of education and working hard. (My fifth grade class was treated to a second string offensive linemen, so this is considerably better.)

He's an official spokesman for Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Kansas City. I've got a couple of buddies who have little brothers so I know how important those relationships are.

It won't repair his ACL, or the Chiefs season, but it's nice to know Berry's still a good dude.
