Chiefs Vs. Packers: Hard To Figure Out KC's Grade

Thursday night's preseason finale between the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers was a strange game. The Chiefs lost, 20-19, after K Ryan Succop missed a looong field goal at the end of the game.

This game was weird because there were so many good things that happened. QB Matt Cassel completed a very high percentage of his passes. WR/RB Dexter McCluster was a big part of the offense. WR Dwayne Bowe looked really solid.

This was also weird because there were so many bad things that happened. Five turnovers? Really? RB Jamaal Charles fumbled twice and QB Tyler Palko threw two interceptions. The Chiefs running game still didn't do much as a group.

So I'm not really sure what to think. I love that the offense got going under Cassel but I hate that they turned it over. I love that Bowe eight catches but I hate that he fumbled.

So how to grade these Chiefs? Do they get a high grade for the good things the first team did? Do you bump them down because of the turnovers? Or we do say they're average?
