Chiefs Vs. Lions: It's Gameday, And Four Things To Remember

It's gameday.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions will be getting together in the Motor City and your humble leaders, Chris and myself, will be watching it together in Kansas City. Chris is in town for the weekend so hopefully he's the good luck guy  and the Chiefs get a victory

We've been talking about this game all week and, after the Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills, we know the Chiefs have to win this one. They have to. I'll admit, though, I'm pretty nervous right now.

To sum up what we've been talking about all week, here are a few things to remember:

1. DT Ndamukong Suh and the Detroit defensive line are key. The Chiefs struggle against upper echelon defensive lines so this is a matchup to remember.

2. Will the Chiefs go a little crazy and give the ball to Jamaal Charles 20-plus times today? History says Charles will hit 100-plus yards if he gets at least 20 carries.

3. Coping with the loss of S Eric Berry. In the real world that means stopping tight ends from burning the Chiefs, particularly over the middle of the field.

4. Yes, the return of Gunther.
