Make It Two Missed Games For Chiefs WR Jonathan Baldwin

The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a couple of devastating injuries when TE Tony Moeaki and S Eric Berry were lost for the year with knee injuries. Long-term injuries to starters isn't something they were used to last year and Chiefs coach Todd Haley said he was making conditioning an emphasis to stay in shape.

Just going by the number of players on the injury report, the Chiefs are indeed healthier than most teams. WR Jonathan Baldwin is the lone name on the injury report with his injured thumb and he has been ruled out.

This is a month that Baldwin's been out now. He's not practicing. He hardly has any game experience save the first game of the preseason. He has no rhythm with QB Matt Cassel. His rookie season is looking more and more like a waste, unfortunately.

The Detroit Lions have six players on the injury report including: WR Maurice Stovall (Hand) - Questionable; WR Calvin Johnson (Ankle) - Questionable; OT Jason Fox (Foot) - Out; DT Nick Fairley (Foot) - Out; CB Alphonso Smith (Foot) - Out; S Louis Delmas (Hip) - Questionable.

Johnson (a/k/a Megatron) said earlier in the week that he plans to play. It seems he's dinged up quite a bit for being such a beast.
