The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their inactive for today's game against the Buffalo Bills, via Josh Looney:
QB Ricky Stanzi, CB Donald Washington, CB Jalil Brown, OT Jared Gaither, WR Jonathan Baldwin, DE Brandon Bair and NT Jerrell Powe.
Remember, gameday rosters are at 46 players this year, instead of 45, so there are only seven inactives per game.
All these inactives are notables, outside of Bair. The third quarterback rule is out but Stanzi is still inactive. Washington and Brown are the two members of the secondary that are out and Gaither, who suffered an injury earlier in the week and hasn't practiced much, is inactive. We knew Baldwin would be out because of the thumb injury and Powe, the other nose tackle on the roster, is inactive.
The most notable inactive is Gaither, in my opinion. The Chiefs are rolling with two offensive tackles on the roster so an injury to OT Brandon Albert or OT Barry Richardson will cause some problems.
