The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium for the first game of the 2011 NFL season. The Chiefs are 4.5 favorites and, as Chiefs fans, we're hoping and expecting them to win.
Bills fans, as well, are expecting their team to win. That's the beauty of the beginning of the NFL season -- every team's fan base knows they have a chance.
I asked Brian over at Buffalo Rumblings for his prediction on the game and, to no one's surprise, he's taking the Bills:
I'm not buying into the Chiefs reeling too hard after their awful pre-season, but I am buying into the Bills being noticeably better defensively, and good enough to win offensively. The last two meetings between these two teams at Arrowhead Stadium have been tough, low-scoring affairs, and I expect more of the same Sunday. Bills 20, Chiefs 17
I agree with his analysis for the most part but disagree with the final score. I'm going 17-10, Chiefs. A big turnover changes the momentum of the game and KC takes control in the second half.
I'll have five more predictions coming soon.
