Chiefs Training Camp Practice Schedule For Saturday

I imagine the Kansas City Chiefs training camp practice this afternoon will attract decent numbers because it's the annual Family Fun Day. Basically, they have a lot of extra things set-up for kids, players signing autographs, taking pictures and all that. It's not a bad day to come out to St. Joe if you haven't seen the team yet.

Practice starts at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. The nuts and bolts for today:

  • There is a cost involved -- $12. That's the entrance fee but parking is free.
  • The gates open at 11:30 a.m. and there's an autograph session before practice. (Players usually sign after practice, too)
  • There's a 9:30 a.m. practice but it's closed to the public.

Check out our post on Family Fun Day from last year to get an idea of what it's like. Basically, fans line up along the fence before and after practice and a lot of players, as well as the GM and head coach, sign autographs.

Hopefully Todd Haley plays to the crowd with an extended 11-on-11 period because that's easily the best part of practice to watch.
