We are basically a week into the Kansas City Chiefs 2011 training camp and how good does it feel to have football back, even if it's just some drills?
I know this week, I felt more comfortable than I have in recent months. Something about the steadiness of real football news is doing it to me, I think.
So, let's talk victory of the week. I didn't have a lot of particular victories this week. Just worked lots and got a lot done. But since I have to choose one, I will go with getting back into running in the morning after a hiatus of a couple of weeks. Running through Rock Creek Park and near the National Zoo, around 6:30 AM, is pretty awesome. Mainly because that's the only time of day the temperature in DC is actually bearable. There's actually a section of the running trail where you can see a couple of the bear exhibits inside the Zoo. It's a cool environment.
