The Kansas City Chiefs made it official on Friday morning that the team has signed rookie LB Justin Houston, who was their third round pick in the 2011 NFL draft. Reports emerged on Thursday night that the two sides had agreed to a four-year deal.
We're not sure what took so long with Houston. He was the second to last draft pick signed but it seemed that no one -- at least nationally -- noticed or commented on his absence.
Why is that? Maybe we'll never know.
If the Chiefs have announced then that probably means Houston has officially signed which puts him in St. Joe for training camp. The Chiefs have a walk-through on Friday morning and a full practice on Friday afternoon.
We'll see where he ends up at the outside linebacker depth chart.
