Kansas City Chiefs Have A Game One Week From Today

Can you believe this? The Kansas City Chiefs have a game in exactly one week from today. Considering all that happened this offseason, it seems odd to actually have football to talk about. I didn't even think about the Chiefs first game until I checked out the schedule this morning.

The Chiefs will line up agains the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday night for their first preseason game. It'll be nationally televised on FOX at 7:00 p.m. Two on-the-rise teams like the Chiefs and Bucs is a good match-up I look forward to.

So starting Monday, we're in a game week. That means we'll be talking with Bucs Nation to figure out what Josh Freeman and Co. are doing (and we'll also be asking their advice on how to stay away from CB Aqib Talib).

The Chiefs first preseason game will come two weeks after training camp started but only a week after all the veteran free agents were there. These 19 players joined practice on Thursday so it'll be interesting to see how many of these guys see game time.

I didn't have much of a point here just that I was excited that KC Chiefs football is only seven days away....awesome.
