We were expecting the Kansas City Chiefs to announce on Thursday a couple of moves involving CB Brandon Carr and LB Tamba Hali. They did make two announcements on Thursday but Hali's name was nowhere to be found. (Nothing to worry about on Hali, by the way. We've confirmed it's a done deal.)
The Chiefs announced two moves officially adding Carr and S Sabby Piscitelli.
The move with Carr was expected and originally reported by Nick Wright. He signed his restricted free agent tender and arrived in St. Joe for camp.
The guy, Piscitelli, is a former second round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's played in 50 career games with 20 starts for the Bucs from 2007-2010 and the Cleveland Browns in 2010. He stands 6'3" and weighs 224 pounds.
Carr returns to his familiar spot at cornerback and Piscitelli joins the rotation at safety. It sounds like this CBA will officially be done very soon so these guys can get on the field today.
