KC Mayor's son accused of punching woman in face - KCTV5 - Kansas City News, Weather and Sports
The woman told Kansas City police that the 22-year-old son of Mayor Sly James yanked her arm and punched her in the eye, according to Kansas City police. The woman had a nearly five-inch bruise on her arm and bruising around her right eye, according to a Kansas City police report. A Kansas City Chiefs player who is friends with James came to the woman's aid, according to the police report.

USA Football Month to be celebrated during Packers-Chiefs game
Recognition of ‘USA Football Month’ continues Thursday night during the Packers’ final preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs as the Packers have invited four youth football teams from the Journey House of Milwaukee to take the field for the USA Football halftime scrimmage. The teams also will be recognized on the field during the national anthem.

A little more than a year ago, Gaither began suffering from a nagging back issue that he later said was a thoracic disk problem that stemmed from a herniated disk in his spine. The injury didn’t require surgery, but Gaither spent much of the last year resting his back. The Chiefs haven’t been quick to rush him back.
