Week 11. November 21st. Monday night. Gillette Stadium.
The game of the year for the Chiefs? It's certainly up there as one of the top games for the Chiefs in the 2011-12 season and there are a few former Patriots on the Chiefs that will be especially pumped up for this game, including QB Matt Cassel.
He talked with the NFL Network guys on Wednesday morning from St. Joe, site of Chiefs training camp, and noted that he is excited about Monday night in Foxboro.
"They're a team obviously that has been unbelievable here for the last decade," Cassel said, "and as a team we'd like to get to that point competing for championships year in and year out. Obviously I have some personal relationships that I'll be excited about, seeing some old friends and playing against my old coach."
This might be the most anticipated game of the season, at least for me. As Bart Scott would say, "Can't wait!"
