There's one area where Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Cassel beats out RB Jamaal Charles -- the early MVP race.
Bodog.com has released their odds on the next NFL MVP and both Cassel and Charles are listed. Cassel is at 28/1 odds while Charles has lower odds at 30/1.
It must be a quarterback thing.
The top three in the league are Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (11/2), New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (13/2) and Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick (17/2).
In other odds news, WR Jonathan Baldwin has 20/1 odds of winning offensive rookie of the year. That puts him slightly ahead of Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert (22/1) and right behind Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (18/1).
The leader for offensive rookie of the year is Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (5/1).
