We've been talking the past few weeks about the Kansas City Chiefs offseason and how they signed three former Baltimore Ravens players. The Ravens of course are the same team the Chiefs lost to last January in the NFL playoffs so there was a connection there.
Chiefs coach Todd Haley says that was just a coincidence and not to read too much into it but it is interesting that three former Ravens players were signed within a couple weeks.
Those three players make the former Raven count in KC up to four including WR Terrance Copper, NT Kelly Gregg, FB Le'Ron McClain and OT Jared Gaither.
But did you know the Ravens boast some former Chiefs players, too? (You should know because Chris mentioned it in our weekly connections post)
The former Chiefs currently on the Ravens are S Bernard Pollard, K Billy Cundiff and TE Kris Wilson. Not exactly murderers' row there but that is a pair of second round picks (!) in Pollard and Wilson.
If this were a competition, I'd say the Chiefs came out ahead in the battle of the former players.
