Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Harold Ayodele Signing

We noted earlier this morning that an assistant coach from Emporia State wrote on Twitter last night that undrafted free agent and former Emporia State DL Harold Ayodele joined the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now, the Chiefs have confirmed the move via press release.

Ayodele comes to the Chiefs with just a few days left in training camp in St. Joe (and a few more weeks of the same in Kansas City) so he's already behind the ball. He becomes the 89th player on the roster -- the max is 90 players until Aug. 30.

Here's his basic bio from the Chiefs release:

Ayodele (6-1, 339) played in 22 games at Emporia State, recording 107 tackles (47 solo), 9.0 tackles for loss (-30.0 yards), 3.5 sacks (-20.0 yards), three QB pressures, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He also played collegiately at Tennessee State. Ayodele was a first-team All-First Coast selection at Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Fla.

He's related to NFL LB Akin Ayodele.
