The Tennessee Titans writers seem to enjoy former Kansas City Chiefs DT Shaun Smith, who left the Chiefs via free agency and signed with the Titans last week.
This coming from John Glennon of the Tennessean:
"DT Shaun Smith is LOUD at this practice. Guy talks a lot of smack for a newcomer."
That sounds about right. That's Shaun Smith and it's really entertaining. You could definitely hear him while observing training camp and other Chiefs practices.
What was more entertaining was when he actually backed it up on the field. He's the guy the Chiefs have lost in free agency this year that I think Chiefs fans will miss the most, both because of his personality and his play on the field.
I wouldn't wish anyone to play poorly but I just hope that GM Scott Pioli was right about letting him go in free agency.
