Chiefs Afternoon Training Camp Practice Could Be Moved Indoors, Too

The Kansas City Chiefs already moved the morning's practice indoors, which is closed to the public, and it sounds like they may do the same this afternoon. If you're not in the area, it's been raining throughout the day and it's not expected to stop for a few hours.

Giving everyone a heads up, the Chiefs posted a statement on KCChiefs.com about this afternoon's 3:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) season ticket holder practice indicating there's a "strong likelihood" the afternoon practice will be indoors, thus closed to the public.

As a result of the inclement weather, the Chiefs morning practice was moved indoors. There is a strong likelihood that this afternoon's practice will also be indoors. In this event, today's Season Ticket Holder event will be cancelled. Although this decision won't be made until practice time, we wanted you to be aware of this possibility. Please continue to check kcchiefs.com for updates. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Why can't they have it indoors? Because there's simply not enough space to accommodate everyone. Even with the 15-20 media folks in there it gets crowded in the practice bubble.

Well, this certainly won't help the attendance numbers for training camp this year.
