If you're into gambling in the preseason, then you should probably seek help for your gambling addiction. If it's just a "one-time thing", then I wanted to share the odds of Friday's game with you.
The Kansas City Chiefs, at home, are three point underdogs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I can't tell you how they came up with that number.
What's interesting is that the Chiefs are the only home team that's not favored. Almost all of the games feature lines between 2.5 to 3 points, apparently that's the standard in preseason odds. (Except for the Colts-Rams. St. Louis is a seven point favorite without QB Jim Sorgi to bail Indy out.)
One long-time AP reader noted on Twitter the other day that Todd Haley is 0-8 all-time against the spread in preseason. (Sounds like someone has been gambling a little too much on the preseason.)
