You Know It's Big When Chiefs And Raiders Fans Shake Hands...

It's very rare that I find a story that mentions the Kansas City Chiefs which NJ Chiefs Fan didn't find and include in Arrowheadlines at the top of the morning so I'll hop on this one.

Someone posted in the Washington Times (that's the D.C. area) community section a story about their trip to Joplin, seeing Rush Limbaugh and the power of the people in that area following the tornado.

And then there was this part:

One guy with a Kansas City Chiefs umbrella laughed when I went up to him and said, "In the spirit of the nature of this event I am a member of the Raider Nation shaking hands with Chiefs fans."

When Chiefs and Raiders shake hands, people know something bigger is taking place.

If it were up to me this would be the rivalry in football. Chiefs and Raiders fans would be cats and dogs (well, dirty and attacking dogs in Oakland's case) or apples and oranges (again, unwashed oranges).
