The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly signed inside linebacker Brandon Siler. The 25-year old is 6'2" and 239 pounds. Kevin Acee had the scoop on Twitter.
Siler would make the 76th roster addition to the Kansas City Chiefs. Rotoworld has a bit more info on him:
Just 25 years old, Siler made 12 starts over the past two seasons in San Diego, racking up 111 tackles, three sacks, and two interceptions. Per Pro Football Focus' ratings, Siler graded out positively as both an inside pass rusher and cover 'backer last year. He also had seven special teams tackles in 2010 and should push for snaps immediately next to Derrick Johnson.
The Kansas City Chiefs, primarily running a 3-4 defense, will always be adding linebackers. Both for depth at the linebacker position and for special teams help.
More on Siler later.
