Chiefs Training Camp: Practice Moved Up

The Kansas City Chiefs are still tweaking their 2011 training camp schedule. Saturday's practice was originally scheduled for 3:30 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) but the team announced last night it has been moved up to 3:00 p.m.

That's news I needed because I'm making my way up to camp for the first time. The Chiefs arrived on Thursday and conducted practice No. 1 yesterday so this is the third day of camp.

A few notes on my trip to camp today:

-We should be live-tweeting during the practice and we'll put a feed of our tweets into a post here on AP so you can follow along as well. This seemed to work the best last year and turned out to be pretty popular. It's the closest thing you'll get to a live-feed of practice.

-Thanks to our resident tech nerd, Chris, I've also tethered my laptop to my phone using it as a modem so, in theory, I could write and post my practice report from the sidelines. Hmm...

-Ms. Primetime keeps calling it summer camp. Asking: "Are you going to summer camp today?" Sigh...

-Practice reports should look about the same as last year. Drop ideas in the comments for things you want us to do differently or other story ideas.

-Those who remember last year, my pictures weren't great. I was using my phone and I've now upgraded that phone so they should be a little better but they're never going to be better awesome (like the KC Star's).
