Most Surprising Move Of Chiefs Free Agency Is...

One good thing about NFL free agency is that we get a lot more traffic to the site and that means we'll get more votes on our polls. With more votes, the better the results are. Even with stories flying off the front page at a rapid rate, we currently have 1,878 votes on our poll asking what the biggest surprise in Kansas City Chiefs free agency has been.

The options were the losing Ron Edwards, releasing Brian Waters and losing Shaun Smith.

The winner is....Waters leaving. 57 percent of voters chose his release as the most surprising move of free agency so far. Losing Shaun Smith came in second with 36 percent of the votes and losing Ron Edwards came in last with five percent of the vote.

[Editor's note: In hindsight, I probably should have added getting WR Steve Breaston. That's my bad.]

Losing Waters is going to be one of those season-long story lines that we'll be talking about for a while. Hopefully G Jon Asamoah makes this transition easy.
